KOA has six products. This is not a stage on the way to twenty: it is the size we intend to stay at. A short catalogue forces every product to justify its place, and makes retiring one a normal decision rather than a crisis.
What we do not do
We do not ship a new version every year if there is nothing to improve. We do not build three variants of the same product to cover three price points. And we do not announce anything that is not ready to ship within the quarter.
Seven years of support
A small catalogue also makes sustainable a promise that would be impossible across a large portfolio: seven years of spare parts and firmware updates from each device's launch date. Keeping six lines alive is easier than keeping thirty.
